MAY DAY PARADE

May 18, 2020

Celebrate Victoria Day in Fort Langley with the 97th annual May Day Parade and party in the park. The parade begins at 11:00 am at Mavis Avenue and Church Street, where it will travel west and turn south onto Glover Road. The parade ends at the Fort Langley Community Park with the piping in of the May Queens and Royal Party. There is May Pole Dancing, live entertainment, rides for children, mini golf, vendors and much more. The Fort Langley Lions famous BBQ chicken will also be at the park. Mark your calendars for a fun-filled family day in the fort!

Celebrate Canada’s birthday at the site where British Columbia was born. Fort Langley Village is where you want to be for family fun and entertainment.

The 9th Annual Prospera Valley GranFondo presented by PwC is dedicated to promoting healthy living by bringing families and friends together through the sport of cycling and raising funds to support the growth of the sport throughout the community it serves. There is a ride for everyone - 50km, 100km and 160km - through the beautiful countryside of the Fraser Valley. All rides start and end in the quaint village of Fort Langley. Art Fort Langley ART + WINE WALK

May 7th, 2020

Art Fort Langley is all about artists who want to promote art and art appreciation in Fort Langley. On May 9th, 2019 Art Fort Langley hosted its first ever art and wine walk and received great reviews from participants and attendees. 2020 looks like it will likely sell out early so keep an eye out for upcoming details. Artists’ studios and galleries will be open to the public so you can chat with artists and view their collections. A map of participating Fort Langley artists will be available before the event and flags in front of studios and galleries will mark locations on the day of the event.

FORT LANGLEY JAZZ AND ARTS FESTIVAL

JULY 24-26, 2020

The festival starts Friday night with an exciting evening of blues inside the Fort. Saturday will include two main stages at the Community Hall with world-class jazz bands performing throughout the day. There will be a children’s zone where kids can learn about the interplay of art and music. At night, guests can dance to the music of Big Band Swing at the Community Hall. Sunday will include more live jazz at the two stages, the children’s zone and a workshop for young musicians. The event concludes with a concert at the Sepass Theatre.
