Old and New Day

Spend the last holiday of the summer visiting the largest collection of pioneer life in BC. Check out a number of very OLD tractors from the museum displayed alongside their NEW version on loan from local dealerships. Two Model A clubs will bring their OLD vehicles and Aldor Acres will exhibit their NEW petting zoo. NEW freshly cooked corn on the cob will be on sale as well as the same OLD pop! All this is available for your pleasure at the Farm Museum - 9131 King Street, Fort Langley. 10 am to 4 pm. Admission by donation.

Fort Langley’s ghostly walks with costumed guides who share tales of love, mysterious burials and old-school amputations in the Hudson’s Bay Company trading post and local cemeteries. With 90 minutes of spine-chilling stories, these walking tours are suitable for adult and teen audiences.
Feel free to bring your own lantern. Tickets available online; $13

Cranberry Day

Try cranberry bannock, string cranberries to decorate your Thanksgiving Day feast, and relax with your family. In the 1840s, the First Nations brought canoe-loads of cranberries to trade at Fort Langley. Walk to the 15th Fort Langley Cranberry Festival in the nearby village of Fort Langley.

Fort Farm Fair

September 4-6, 9 am – 6 pm
 
Explore our heritage garden, see farm animals, and discover Fort Langley’s farming past. Take a free cooking class at 11am and 3pm on Saturday and Sunday and take home an authentic Fort Langley treat for yourself. Pony rides on Sunday between noon and 3pm for the kids. Don’t miss “Old & New Day” at the BC Farm Machinery Museum across the street on Monday September 6.

2nd Annual Pumpkin Fun Run/Walk

Scenic 6K starts and finishes at the famous Aldor Acres Farm located at 24990 84 Avenue, Langley.

2nd annuak 6K Pumpkin Fun Run with proceeds towards bursaries for Langley School District students pursuing trades apprenticeship training.

Individual entry fee:  $20 (until Oct 10), $30 after
Family entry fee: $70 (until October 1), $100 after - maximum of 4 people

All finishers receive post race refreshments, a chance to win prizes and complimentary race-day admission to Aldor Acres.

Cranberry Festival

The 13th Annual Fort Langley Cranberry Festival takes place on Saturday, October 9, from 9:00 am to 5 pm in the Village of Fort Langley.

This festival is free, and it draws about 15,000 - 20,000 visitors to the charming area of Fort Langley every year.

The Cranberry Festival features sales of all kinds of tasty cranberry items (from popcorn to jam to candles), activities for families and kids, contests, live music and entertainment, and even a canoe regatta!

The event also features the annual pancake breakfast.
