IMPORTANT NOTICE:
THE PARADE ROUTE AND FESTIVAL IN THE PARK LOCATION HAS CHANGED!
To commemorate BC's 150th birthday and the heritage of Fort Langley as the birthplace of BC where it all began, the parade route has been reversed to begin at the Fort Langley Lions Hall at 88th Ave. and Glover Rd. heading North on Glover Rd., East on Mavis Ave., and ending up at the Fort Langley National Historic Site for the Festival in the Park following the parade.
2008 Parade Route and Map:
The parade will begin at 11:00 am.
The Festival in the Park will take place on the Orchard Lawn at the Fort Langley National Historic Site after the parade and will feature the traditional Maypole Dance and Ceremony, kiddie amusement rides and carnival games, face-painting and balloon art, live music and entertainment, a marketplace, and food concession.
Festival hours are 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm - a Schedule of Events will be posted soon.
