The Fort Langley Cranberry Festival
In Langley, we love to celebrate the Fall harvest of cranberries. The Village of Fort Langley hosts this annual event featuring cranberry sales, special presentations on the history of the cranberry industry, live music, entertainment, activities, contests and prizes, a scrumptious pancake breakfast, food vendors, a market with dozens of retail vendors, and a canoe regatta on the Bedford Channel.
This festival is a free community event and is attended by approx. 15,000 - 20,000 visitors annually.
Did you know that B.C. is the third largest producer of cranberries in the world? In addition, the Fort Langley Cranberry Festival is the only cranberry festival in BC and one of only three festivals like it in Canada celebrating the cranberry harvest season.
