Counsellor for Children and their Families:  “There are two kinds of children that I mainly see at Counselling for Children & Youth.  Firstly children who are very difficult to parent and you as parents need help to sort out what is making them behave the way they do.  The second group of children are those whose have undergone some form of change in their life. (Sometimes you may not be aware of what it is.) Children sometimes have no words to put to their feelings.  Play therapy allows the child to have their story heard.  Through the expression of emotions in a safe atmosphere children begin to heal, gain strength and confidence and the balance in your family is renewed.
