OTHER SIDE OF FIVE
The "Other Side of Five" began 4 years ago as a Classic rock cover band and they are fast becoming one of Canada's top indie bands.
Although not easily categorized into any particular sound or genre; this 'home-grown B.C. band' has since developed their own unique sound described by fans as a blend of Country Rock mixed with Adult Contemporary.
The musical influences of OS5 range from The Beatles, Stones and Eagles, to more modern sounds like John Mayer, Nickelback and Jason Mraz.
In early 2008, OS5 entered the studio to create their self-titled CD which is scheduled for completion/release in September.
These talented musicians have a combined total of over 30 years experience with some members touring professionally.
Like many song writers, this band writes their own music based on past relationships, both good and bad, as well as everyday life and who they are.
OS5 has a vision, which is: "to create music with lyrics that people can relate to by writing songs that they can sing along with that will hopefully remind them of a special time, place or memory in their lives."
All of the members hold down full time jobs. One side is at work from 9-5, and the other is creating their own sound; hence the name: "Other Side of Five".

DOGHOUSE
CELTIC and FOLK MUSIC BAND

Pete Edwards arrived in Canada in 2001, having run a very successful Celtic folk band in the U.K. for the previous ten years. Since settling in Delta, he was lucky enough to find other like -minded musicians, and so in 2003, "DOGHOUSE" was born.
Although a relatively new band, the current line-up has many years of combined talent and experience to draw from, and has proved popular at each appearance. The band manages to keep people's feet tapping with its varied performance of songs and music wherever it plays.
Although billed as a Celtic folk band, DOGHOUSE is very diverse and can add country and jazz flavours to its repertoire.
DOGHOUSE has played at local folk clubs, coffee bars, restaurants and private functions. It has appeared a number of times at the Tour De Delta, and the Delta Summer Arts Shows, played at White Rock's Spirit of the Sea Festival and Concerts on the Waterfront. Of course, St Patricks Day events are a seasonal highlight and always sell-out performances.
DOGHOUSE has appeared on TV on the DCCTV "Spotlight" series and has played over the border in the US.
RAYNE

The group 'rayne' is the musical evolution of friendships spanning over nearly two decades. It consists of Lisa Hope and Donna Wall on vocals and Dale Unrau on vocals and acoustic guitar. All three sing lead and harmony vocals exquisitely.
With their unique blend of harmonies, you'll hear songs from ABBA to the Dixie Chicks, from Neil Young to Six Pence None the Richer. Rayne puts a new twist on familiar old classics as well as new songs from many genres.
